Feel free to connect with us, and let's explore how we can make your vision come to life amid the natural beauty of our farm.
I had visited Greenara for a 16mm film workshop for two days. Haneena and team welcomed us all with great care. The whole property is beautifully designed and creates this heaven for people looking for reconnection with nature. You can spend hours walking around the property and finding your best spot to meditate or listen to the nature. The dormitory where I stayed is well maintained and the wash rooms clean. Finally the two highlights for me were the food (provided) which just made me feel home and all the ponds in the property which have crystal clear waters and looks extremely cinematic. I just didn't want to leave Greenara !!!!
I have been to Greenara as a part of their pottery workshop. Greenara is not your average resort kind of place, rather it is a mindful experience which is soothing and relaxing to your soul. This place takes us back to our roots and makes us humble with the variety of flora and fauna around us. The sound of water falling into its natural ponds, the sight of dragonflies and fish playing in its clear water - it is all there, not away from our city life at Calicut. We can see the effort of Mr. Mustafa on this farm - how painstakingly he has invested his time, effort and money in bringing back this barren, abandoned, laterite landscape to the lush green mini forest which we see here today. This review won't be complete without mentioning the warmth of the hosts of Greenara - Mr. Musthafa himself, his wife - Shabja Aunty, their daughter Haneena, Abdul, and Kamaal - Mr.Mustafa's right hand. Shabja Aunty treated us to her homemade sumptuous local delicacies in food and drinks. Greenara is what we would call, a retreat to the lap of nature. And it deserves a crowd who respects that space and its innate serenity. <3
A hidden beauty. It is hard to believe that this place used to be a quarry. And has been transformed into this magnificent fairy tale like jungle within a span of 6 years. The owner and creator of this place, Mr. Mustafa is an avid nature lover. He landscaped this barren piece of land all by himself and curated trees from various sources so much so that he even rescued trees from highway expansion zones and gave them a home in Greenara. My personal favourite were the wide variety of ferns and bamboos available there. Also don't forget to check out their Gold Leaf Bauhinia vine at the entrance with it's ever golden/copper color changing leaves. The food over there is to die for. You get to taste the most fresh and authentic Malabar cuisine over there. Workshops like bamboo, pottery etc are conducted from time to time. Also one can attend their plant walk as well.
